Remote start not working evo one

0 votes
Hi, I finally got time to do the install of Evo one with thar hon3 harness on 2015 honda civic push start, but it didn't work, I flashed the module and set everything as the instructions said, option 2-2  and 38-2,  and C1 D2  and I  did the install programming on the module and the programming worked, after that went back to computer to do the final flash (Dcryptor) went back to the car and connected all the wires in the order as described and sonnest I connected the main harness all the lights on the panel of the car came on, then I tried to start the car by using 3x on lock but all it was doing was clicking, then I tried to star with  push of the ignition bottom and it came on for like two seconds then turn off again by it self, a message on the car panel saying to check the keyless system or starting system something like that, I don't remember exactly the message, then tried to turn everything off by pushing the start bottom but it didn't turn off,  it was just toggleing between accessories and on, the only way that it turned off completely was by disconnecting the evo one module. I disconnected the harness and put car back as it was and is working normal, but The remote start could not get it to work, can you please help me, The only wire that I didn't connect from the thar hon3 harness is the one for the horn, but the parking lights I did.

thank you.

The only thing that could cause this kind of problem would be damaged pin in the t-harness connectors. If the connector were not aligned properly when connected this could happen. Inspect the connectors and make sure no pins are crooked.

I just checked all the pins on the T harness and on the evo one module and they all look perfect,  as I mention on my first question I did not connect the horn wire, will that prevent it from working properly?

You have not updated the module after DCryptor.
Please plug the module back into the computer go to the DCryptor tab and click update unit.

Then re test.

If it still powers up when you connect the main 6 pin connector. Test the wires and let me know what wire has 12 volts when the key is OFF.

I just to gave this another try and no luck, soonest I connect the T harness all lights on the panel comes on and a message CHECK KEYLESS SYSTEM, and If I try to do the programming of the module, soonest I plug the Main connector all the lighs in the panel starts flashing, and the module doesn't even program as it should, I did a reset to see if it makes any difference but it did not. I will just give up on this project,  I don't want to mess up my car, for some reason I think that the T harnnes is what's given me all this problems because it acts like if it has a short some where. I reconnected it couple of times but it keeps doing the same.
I have another question, please. 2015 Honda civic push to start

now I am going to try to hard wire for my evo one intall using the harnesses that come with the unit, my question is, I am a little confused with two wires that come out of the 20 pin connector on the evo one (green white IGNITION 2 and green red IGNITION 2) they supposed to connect to the yellow wire that goes to the smart keyless control (pin 28) IGNITION 2, I want to use my OEM REMOTE. Do I connect the two green wires to the yellow or just one green?

Thank you!
The Green/White and Green/Red are needed to be keep the oem remotes functional when the vehicle is remote started.

Those 2 wires interupt the IGNITION 2. make sure that the wires are connected exactly like in the guide.
I need help again please, I did the wire connection wire by wire and still not working, when I plug the main harness to the evo one unit, the engine will turn on and off like every 20 seconds and it keeps doing it until I disconnect the unit, all the lights and accesories on the front panel of the car will start flasing on and off very quickly, can’t even program the module for that reason, I am afraid the it may mess up my car so I just disconnect it .  The difference now is that I can use the car with all those wires connected but without the module, compare when I used the Thar one hon3, the car didn’t work with the harness connected. Again working on 2015 Honda civic push start.

thank you.
Also I need some help locating the connection of the green white, green red wires (ignition wires from the evo one unit) that supposed to connects to the smart key module, In the installation instructions says to connect them to the yellow wire pin 14 on a 28 pin tan color connector, but I do not see a tan color connector, the three connectors that come from the car to the keyless control unit above the gas pedal connectors are grey not tan color... I am confused with this connection, want to make sure that I am not connecting it to the wrong wire.

thank you.
