Flash-Link 2 Not Detecting Evo-One

0 votes
I connected my Flash-Link-2 to the latest version of Flash Link Manager (3.54) and was able to update the Firmware on my Evo-One to the version outlined in the install manual, now when I re-connect the Evo-One to the Flash-Link-2 the module is not detected.  I have tried restaring the computer, re-installing and even using another computer.  I can connect to the Flash-Link-2 via Flash Link Manager but not the Evo-One.

I had the same problem when I hook my up a few minutes ago.  Under the help tab, if the "cancel flashlink update" is highlighted, click it to stop it and program should find evo one right away.  It worked for me so it may very well help you!

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately thats not the case here, it was stuck in the flashlink update mode saying it was updating but kept showing 0 of 100% for several minutes, I quit the flah link manager and it hasn't worked since.
simply quiting the program will not cancel the update. You need to click the help button and click on the cancel firmware update button and folow the on screen prompts.
I have cancelled the flash link update through the help menu, I had to quit the program because it locked up. When I re-open flash link manager it is not in flashlink uppdate mode and the toggle button is in bypass mode.
was the evo still plugged into the vehicle when the flash link was connected to it?
No it wasn't, just plugged into my computer.
