Do I have to disable the stand alone remote option to add a remote start to the Evo All?

not necessary if the remote starter is full datalink compatible with either of the three datalink protocols. keep in mind that the 20-pin connector is completely reconfigured when in stand alone. Example, the dark blue wire which is normally an activation input (ground-while-running) in a regular install will be a hood input when in stand alone. The 20-pin connector would basically stay configured to what is in the stand alone installation guide (meaning no analog status outputs for things like brake and tach).

It would be easier to just disable the stand alone remote starter (option D1). If using datalink, you can leave C1 enabled to syncronize the remote starter with the OEM remote when locking and unlocking.
