thats what i tried thinking if must be similar to the 642 remote kits.

after following the proceedure and turning the ket off all 3 lights on the evo all would remain lit. I tried this several times and would not work.  the remote would act like it was functioning but the vehicle would not respond.

I decided to swap out for an evo one and it programmed to that just fine.

evo all service number i was working with is 001a06 817282. Can that please be reset for programming into a new installation. Thank you.
Which steps did you use with the evo-one. I tried using the valet button but it's not working.

Remote programming is on page 2.

UPDATE: The horn and lights may not respond on your car. Look for the red light next to the yellow wire to begin blinking rapidly instead.
Jeremy, pay attention to the red led where the yellow wire is. This is what you should be watching when programming the remotes since the antenna is not paired with the evo yet.

With the car off, if it is currently flashing slowly, you will need to first disarm the system before attempting to program the remotes. To disarm it, either hit unlock on the oem remote if your starter is set to work off the oem remote, or, enter valet mode (ignition ON, press 3x on the valet button).
