2016 kia soul standard key evo one unlock does not unlock trunk at all times

All locks work priority unlock drivers side double tap unlocks all doors except trunk it seems it has a hard time is this a settings issue program issue

Might want to try turning back on option A2 - Trunk Release.  I do not see any mention that trunk release is done through CAN on this car though. Worth a try.
