2016 silverado

Question

I have a 2016 Silverado and installed a fortin evo-gmt3 … just want the 3 lock to work.. but to star it with the 3 lock I have to unlock then lock 3 times and it will start.. don’t know what I am doing wrong !!

When the vehicle is armed and sitting and you do not press the unlock button, if you press lock does the blue led flash on the evo?

If the door is open it is unlocked so when I hit  lock 3 time it will start and every time I kit lock I get a blue light. But if I lock it and try 10 mins later it don’t work .. so if I unlock and hit lock 3 times it will start.. I don’t know if it is the sating that are programed  in it..
