Antenna Power

Question

Connecting the RF642W to the Evo One module, I was advised by the retailer support group to connect the power adapter to the antenna ribbon prior to connecting the antenna ribbon to the module, will this added power damage the module? Because I am having difficulties programming the remotes and antenna. 2007 Honda Civic.

Also the connector to the left of the blue 4 pin antenna connection is black not blue (it's in the middle of the red and blue connectors)

This is the correct port for the antenna cable. Power and ground are not required when using this port.

the antenna plugs directly into the blue connector of the evo-one.

If you have that little Y-adaptor, it's not meant for your setup. It's used with an EVO-ALL.
