evo one wont bypass the key immbolizer

Question

i have an evo one in a 2011 toyota camry program with ease and the remote start works.  only if i hold the key by the key hole then the car starts .

got some questions:

• service number please. 
• Are you using the t-harness?
• Does the original key have either a G or L engraved on the shaft of the key? or is it a dot? This is an important question.. 

 

in the meantime, to help narrow down the source of problem:

• make sure option 2.4 is enabled in the remote start options.
• remove the parking light and autolight connections for now.

i am jay.  yes it does have a dot.  does that mean i dont have the master key.  it is on 2.4 also
