Is INT-BMW2 needed ina 2005 BMW 325i without PTS

I will use an Python remote stater / alarm combo with Fortin EVO-ALL. I know i have to use the INT-BMW2 with PTS car. But with what about without PTS ?

If the car does not have the key port and PTS you don't need intbmw2
