TB-GM2 standalone?

Question

Can the TB-GM2 be used as a standalone bypass? If so, what voltage do I send on the "PATS-LINK" connector? 12volts?

the tb-gm2 is basically a chip in a box.

So with the use of an inductive loop at the ignition, you can simply loop the 2 pins  together creating a closed loop between the wrap at the ignition and the tb-gm2 this will always send the transponder info to the car inductive pick up....not sure what this is gonna cause in terms of battery drain though...as the immobilizer system will always be active in the vehicle.

on the TB-GM2 there are 2 ports, one goes to the coil on the ignition switch and the other normally goes to either the TB-control box (micro relay) OR the 2 pin white connector(PATS-LINK) on our units that acts like a controller for the TB boxes.

 

You can also connect to the empty 2 pin port with 2 wires and control these with an external relay, (connecting to pins 30 and 87)

And your remote starter connected to pins 85 (12v constant) and 86 (GWR)
