2002 Nissan Pathfinder (-) while running is getting weak ground.

I have installed a Crimestopper RS7-G5 FM with the Evo-All. Initially I was able to start it the first time, then the only time I get it to remote start is when the dark blue wire is direclty grounded. When it is connected to the Crimestoppers ground out when running wire the vehicle will not start.

How do I test the output from the GWR from the Crimestopper and what value should I get?

check the programming options in the crimestopper. There may be a setting that changes how their GWR works. Also, make sure its the right wire :D

When I looked into the programming option I did not find any settings that could be changed.
Were you in datalink? Although the crimestopper are default to Fortin protocol, I would force it to Fortin protocol by enabling the option (i forget which it is but it's in there).  The reason for this is that if the crimestopper is set to the ADS protocol and the EVO is set to Fortin, both units will not communicate properly and cause odd issues like you are seeing.

Happy Thanksgiving Robert, I went into the setting on the Crimestopper and set it again for Fortin protocol. I have been trying it with a relay with the same results. I connected the two wires together and the Pathfinder started up. Unfortunately I have seen it do tis. It will start the first time then it won't start after that. When the Evo All is on the only light that stays on is the red light. In the instructions for the Evo All it says the yellow light should be on when the ignition is on. I wonder if the problem is going to be the Evo All. I say that because my brother bought the same Crimestopper and I set it to my vehicle with the same results.

I really appreciate your help with this.
Make sure the relay setup is like this (pin86 in that diagram is the GWR output of the remote starter):: http://www.the12volt.com/relays/relaydiagram46.html

If the system works when grounding the GWR directly to ground, there is no reason for it not function properly with the above setup. NOTE: If you leave this wire grounded, the vehicle will most likely not remote start on the 2nd try, you need to remove ground after the remote start shut down so the car can reset the transponder properly.
Well Robert, I did what you suggested and it worked for a few times. I ordered a replacement Evo All and carefully went over the connections and it works perfecty without the relay. I am so glad I had a feeling that there was something not right with the Evo All. With the new one there is no issues at all. I am thankfull for your time and help. All the testing I was able to do with your help led me to fixing the problem. Thanks again.

Test the GWR wire from your crimestopper with a DMM, sounds like it doesn't work at all.

Thanks for your response. When I test the GWR what values am I looking for?
I have  used a relay to activate the Evo All. It will activate it but the vehicle will not start. I don't know what is going on because if the Evo All is turning on then the vehicle should start. I am starting to think the Evo All is bad.
