I have evo all When I connected driver door pin the keypad on the diver door doesn't lock the doors also i got 2 horn sounds for each lock press by the remote i didn't like that

so does the remote start work without that connection

If connecting the driver door pin prevented you from using the keypad you are either on the wrong wire (there a bunch of green/purple or violet/green wires in a Ford) or the the wires connected to the driver door pin are reversed.

 

The wire is used for 2 functions.

1. To allow arming the factory alarm when using aftermarkets (will not be a problem if using the oem remote to start/stop the car)

2. RAP (Retained Accessory Power). It shuts down the rap after remote start so your radio doesn't stay on for 10 minutes.
